When you are writing copy ,the main aim is to grab the reader’s  attention and get your get your copy to be read.
At a glance the headline should be able to attract  the attention of the reader.

Direct Headline

Buy two and get 1 for free—
It’s  clear headline ,easy to understand ,it states the offer so clearly leaving the reader with a clear understand of what is to be offer.
Without reading the whole article the reader can understand what ,it is all about-

The indirect headline

Lets take a look at this headline,
Pill saves marriage---
The headline arouses curiosity in the reader ‘s mind . The reader wants to know what actually
Happened, how can a pill save a marriage.
The reader cannot tell the story from merely reading the headline and hence he is taken from sentence to sentence until the whole copy is read.

A news headline

Its an announcement , making the reader aware of something that has just happened-

Its an intriguing story that leaves the reader saying –
‘Wow ,I didn’t know—‘

The how to headline.

From students to professors ---
From politicians to pastors—
From employee to  Directors--- content is king ,the biggest search word on the net is :How to---
Mothers want to know how to take care of their families well. Students wants to know how to pass maths the first time.
Men wants to know how to date a beautiful girl—
The how to headline it shows the expertise of the writer and his ability to transfer his knowledge to the reader.
